Featuring deadlier enemies, darker locations, and more terrifying surprises, each Nightmare Deck introduces new, alternate encounter cards and instructions for using them to reshape a scenario's encounter deck. The result? A nightmarish journey through territory you thought you knew, but with twists and turns that will have you on the edge of your seat! A whole host of unseen dangers and deadly Undead await you in the Temple of the Deceived Nightmare Deck. With a host of new Edge of the Temple locations, this Nightmare Deck expands and enhances the unique Island Map at the heart of the Temple of the Deceived scenario—one of the best-loved scenarios from the Dream-chaser cycle. As you add these locations to your map, your journey becomes longer. Your way becomes less clear. And the obstacles you encounter are deadlier than ever, even as they're more responsive to your position on the Island Map! Nightmare Decks are available via FFG's In-House Manufacturing and may differ subtly in appearance and texture from Core Set cards. Players are thus encouraged to utilize opaque or art sleeves while playing in Nightmare Mode. This is not a stand-alone product. One copy each of The Lord of the Rings: The Core Set, The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – The Grey Havens expansion, and The Lord of the Rings: Temple of the Deceived are required to play.
